Family Life Center offers prenatal education throughout the course of your pregnancy. Individualized education focuses on topics such as the growth and development of the baby, comfort techniques, labor and delivery, and newborn care.
Other topics relating to the health and well-being of the mom, baby, and family as a whole are also shared. Participants earn incentives of diapers and Client Cash for use at Silk Purse Thrift Store, with each monthly visit. With the completion of six visits, a mom earns a basket of new items for baby and a car seat.
In addition to one-one-one individualized learning, Family Life Center offers a Baby Shower Workshop for moms and dads to learn together in a relaxed, educational group atmosphere covering: Understanding Pregnancy, Labor & Delivery, Newborn Care, & Postpartum. After attending the 4 workshops, clients receive a car seat and baby gift basket. This fun learning experience may be combined with one-on-one learning.
